Scenario 1 -

Paedophile Priest to Pope: "Bless me Holy Father for I have sinned"

Pope to sick bastard: "What have you done my son?"

Sicko: "I have been abusing children for a number of years."

Pope: "Did you use a condom?"

Sicko: "No I didn't"

Pope: "I fogive you my son, but you' must try to fight the urges."

The sick bastard gets moved to another country, the Vatican arranges hush money payment to the victims and the sicko starts the cycle all over again. No-one at the top, including the Bishop who was aware of his offences, resigns.

Scenario 2 -

Paedophile Priest to Pope: "Bless me Holy Father for I have sinned"

Pope to sick bastard: "What have you done my son?"

Sicko: "I have been abusing children for a number of years."

Pope: "Did you use a condom?"

Sicko: "Yes, I did"

Pope: "You are disgusting. You have gone against all the church's teachings. You are evil beyond description. You are no longer fit to remain a priest".

The sick bastard gets booted out of the church without the bastards covering his arse. He eventually gets sent to prison when found by the Police. No compensation is paid to his victims. No-one at the top of the chuch (including the Bishop who knew of his offences) resigns.
